EAA 800 Meeting Minutes

Pres. Jim Austin opened the Chapter 800 meeting at the H.A.W.K. hangar at 10:30.

• Sec. Sterling Hurst read Minutes of the May meeting and Ken Hurt gave the chapter’s current Treasurer’s report: savings - $2525.48, and checking - $2810.43. Both the minutes and treasurer’s reports were approved as given.
   
• Randy Owen reported that our chapter’s nominee for a Ray Foundation grant of $10K for flight instruction, Hawk member William McLochlin, was a grant winner! Congratulations, William! Members, be on the lookout for future nominees!
   
• Bruce Erickson reported that he had applied for and received a grant through the Ray Foundation for a motorglider for the HAWK program. Total value of the grant is $65K! Way to go Bruce!
   
• Jerry Friedman was presented a card and gift certificate for his hours of work on the HAWK Cherokee annual.
   
• Jerry Friedman gave a short presentation explaining ADS-B in/out.

The meeting adjourned shortly after 11:00 to hangar talk and lunch prepared by Ken & Jeri Hurt.

The next chapter 800 meeting will be Saturday, July 18, at 10 AM.
