EAA 800 Meeting Minutes

Chapter 800 met at 11 AM at Fruita’s Fiesta Guadalajara restaurant for their Annual Christmas Dinner. With twenty-four members and spouses present, Pres. Kim Neibauer and VP Brian Miller were in AZ, so Treas. Ken Hurt began the meeting before meals were brought. His Treasurer’s report was the same as last month: $2525.09 in savings and $2772.13 in checking for a total of $5297.22. Food service began, so time out for food and socializing was taken before resuming the meeting with elections.

Ken Hurt asked for volunteers for President since Kim Neibauer is stepping down. Jim Austin volunteered and was elected by acclamation. Ten 2020 EAA calendars were available and eight were taken. The other two are available: bring your $10 to our next meeting.

Michelle Hobbs, YE Coordinator, nominated Braden Hobbs to replace her as Young Eagles Coordinator. Braden was also elected by acclamation.

Chapter 800’s Officers for 2020 are:

• President: Jim Austin
• Vice Pres: Bryan Miller
• Treasurer: Ken Hurt
• Secretary/Communications: Sterling Hurst
• Young Eagles Coordinator: Braden Hobbs
• Web Master: Steve Lindemann

With elections accomplished, the socializing continued until about 1PM.

Next meeting will be January 18^th, the 3^rd Saturday of January, at 10 AM at Mack Mesa in the HAWK classroom.
