President Kim Neibauer called the meeting to order at 10:38 AM with 19 present. Guests included:
- Secretary Sterling Hurst read the August minutes which were approved as read.
- Treasurer Ken Hurt reported $2525.01 in savings after transferring $2500 from checking; and $2836.15 in checking. Ken suggested we be thinking of what we could do with those $$.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Young Eagles date was delayed until October 19 with a rain date of the 26th.
- Pilots who indicated they could fly are: Sterling, Randy, Jerry, Bryan, possibly Bruce. If we have a LOT of preregistered kids, Shay, Al G, and Chapter 1373 pilots could be called on.
- Ken Hurt will set up the rib building activity for kids as they wait.
- Grounds people will be Jake, Rick and others
- EAA Members are urged to be there well before 8:30 to help set up cones, chains, ground control as well as registration, certificate printing, rib building and pilot planning. Kids and parents will likely arrive before 9 AM.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:23 for Brats & Burgers.
