Kim Neibauer called the meeting to order in the HAWK classroom at about 11 AM with 15 members present.
- TreasurerKen Hurt reported $25.01 in savings still and $5191.91 in checking after a payment of $486 for EAA 800 Campsites at Oskosh. Ken recommended transferring some funds to savings. Members voted to transfer ˝ of the checking balance to savings after Oshkosh expenses were paid.
- May minutes were read and approved with the following update:
- According to Kim, the $106 donation the members voted to go toward the Jamboree band, was declined by Travis Reece, so it was handed over to our treasurer today.
NEW BUSINESS:
Oshkosh details were discussed:
- Charlie Becker sent 6 student passes for Hawk members.
- Students planning to go at this time are: Christa Janke (whose pass is provided by the Girls’ program), Ryan Allen, Logan Boe, Britton Hovland, William Mcglochlin, and Jake Miller.
- Dates are Friday July 19 departure, one night camping enroute, arrival AirVenture Saturday July 20, Depart Oshkosh Sunday July 28, Arrive home Monday July 29.
- Pres. Kim reminded officers of the chapter leaders’ breakfast on Saturday, July 27. Preregister on the Airventure website.
The brief meeting was adjourned for Brats & Burgers at 11:23.
July’s meeting will be early, on July 13, 2019 since officers will be gone by the third Saturday. We will tie down remaining Oshkosh trip logistics.
