EAA 800 Meeting Minutes

Our short business meeting took place at West Star Aviation at 9:45 prior to the Craig Stout presentation.

We need to confirm with Kim the need to reserve campsites for the AirVenture 2019 expedition.

Craig Stout, West Star Chief Inspector, who has worked in many areas of aviation for several decades, gave a complete and inspirational presentation of careers in aviation: aviation piloting, mechanics, avionics, engineering, computerization, painting, administrative and much else. Craig then took our group on an extensive tour through the various hangars where expensive work was being performed on large business jets and smaller turboprop airplanes. It really was a mind-boggling experience. Thank you, Craig!

After the tour, about 20 of us went to Village Inn for lunch and cheerful liveliness.

The need to start planning the Oshkosh trip early was brought up.  Bryan suggested a couple of fundraising options for HAWK Aviators. Bryan indicated that this would be on the agenda for future meetings.
