New Items: Bryan Miller is in the middle of his Instrument Pilot flight training leading to a CMU Associate Degree in Aviation Technology. Bryan said that there is a growing demand for pilots and airlines are partnershipping with flight training schools now to meet this demand.
Eddie Clements and Jerry Freidman flew to Sun & Fun in Eddie’s Mooney 201 with exciting weather and mechanical travails. His Garmin GDL39 ADS-B system, along with ATC Flight Following was a great help in making the flight a successful and safe arrival. Many aircraft were delayed enroute to Lakeland FL. Eddie and Jerry visited vendors such as Champion (oil filters), Concord (batteries), who are potential donors to HAWK Aviators, of which there was a lot of interest from many others in this program. Eddie reported that the DHS is now recruiting helicopter pilots with high starting incomes.
Of course, all come the the Mack Mesa Fat Tire Jamboree!

Meeting adjourned: at 11:20 am for lunch, conversation and HAWK activity.
