The meeting was called to order at 10:30 AM by the President, Syndi Jochums in the EAA Hangar at Mack Mesa Airport.

The minutes from the July meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer's report showed that we have $1076 in the checking account, $25 in the saving account, and receipts for $71.76 for the Hawk.
The EAA 800 website has been updated with several airplanes for sale and information for the Crawford Fly-In and Meeting on Sep 14, 2013..
Some members talked about their projects. Lane noted that he has started working on the wings of the PT-2 and also has his registration packet from the EAA.
There have not been enough sign ups for the E-LSA Repairman's Course scheduled for October. It will be rescheduled when at least ten people sign up for the course. This course is required for any owners of E-LSA's who want to do their own condition inspections.
The next Young Eagles Day will be September 21, 2013. This will be the week after the Crawford Fly-In (Joint Meeting with Chapter 1373). Pilots and ground crew are needed and were asked to sign up on the list at the meeting. It was decided to start at 8 AM on the 21st instead of the usual 9 AM. There may not be as many 4 place airplanes available since Jim Grady will not be able to fly. Lowell Manary from Chapter 1373 said he may be able to find a couple of others with 4 place airplanes to help out.
Several items pertaining to the construction of the Hawk were discussed:
Steve Kibler spoke about the sale of his Dad's RV-6A project that is located in Palisade. This airplane is very close to completion and the workmanship is supposed to be very good. Steve handed out flyers on the airplane to anyone interested.
Crawford Fly-In is September 14th. Joint Meeting with Chapter 1373.
The remaining EAA Calendars for 2013 were handed out to some of the visiting kids.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:35 AM for lunch.
