Several guests were introduced:
Ladd announced that there will be a Fly-In at Mack Mesa Airport on 5-6 October. There will be flying competition on Saturday with a BBQ on Saturday evening.
Sterling read the letter that is going to be sent to the Daily Sentinel and the City Council explaining why Chapter 800 will not be participating in the GJ Airshow next weekend. All members in attendance agreed to send the letter as read.
Syndi discussed the upcoming Young Eagles Day on Saturday September 29th starting at 9 AM. So far we have only six pilots planning to fly. If you can fly, please contact Syndi or Sterling as soon as you can. Ground crew personnel are also needed. So far there are 35 YE's registered and more are expected.
Jay brought up the idea for the Chapter to purchase a set of scales to weigh airplanes. Graham noted that Chapter 1373 has access to a set that costs members $120 for lifetime use of the scales. He noted that Chapter 800 members could use this same set of scales.
