EAA 800 Meeting Minutes
17 April 2010

The meeting was called to order at 10:45 AM by the Vice President, Dennis Crawford. The meeting was held at Randy Owen's home where he is building a Zenith 701.

The minutes from the March meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer reported that we had $1330.66 in our account.

Marge Guziak discussed an article she had written in the "Fence Post" on Bill Goss a farmer in the local area and a former aviator in WW II.

Steve discussed the upcoming Young Eagles Day on 22 May. Please let Steve know as soon as possible if you will be able to help with ground duties or as a pilot. We would like to avoid having a bunch of kids show up if we only have a couple of airplanes to fly them.

Graham announced that the Montrose Chapter is in the early planning stages for a Fly-In at Delta Blake Field. If that occurs, our Chapter would like to participate with them.

Randy talked about his Zenith 701 that he has been working on for about two years and 800 hours. He is currently working on wiring. The pictures show that he is quite far along. He hopes to have it flying sometime this year.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:25 AM for lunch.
