EAA 800 Meeting Minutes
12 September 2009

The meeting was called to order at 10:15 AM at Bob Caskey’s shop on K1/2 road near Fruita.

There was no new business. A short announcement was made by Jay Scheevel covering upcoming events at Montrose Airport Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 19, and the Young Eagles event to be held at Dag’s hangar at GJT on September 26. The treasurers report was made by Ray Guziak: Balance of funds is $1198.66 in the bank and $140.00 in petty cash. Guests were announced and Butch McCain was introduced as Bill Marvel’s guest. Ray Guziak brought copies of the Chalmer Bowen article that appeared in this month’s Sport Aviation that was penned by Marge Guziak. The Randy Miller article has not yeat been published. Project reports were requested and we moved to adjourn in order for Bill Marvel to give a full accounting of his and Bob Caskey’s project that served as the backdrop for the meeting. Thanks to Don Coleman for bringing chairs out from Dag’s hangar to him and Bill Marvel for setting everything up. It was beautiful late summer day.
