The meeting was called to order at 11:15 AM by the President, Dennis Crawford. It was held at the Dragon Treasure Restaurant in Fruita.
The minutes from the November meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer reported that there is $1,849.94 in the account. Yearly dues ($20) are due in January 2008. It was approved to provide $150 to Mike and Jan Marker , our November guest speakers from Albuquerque, for fuel for their trip to Grand Junction. Mike Stolle will send a check to them after receiving the money from Ray.
Pictures of Sterling and Nancy Hurst's trip to Carter Copter in Wichita Falls, Texas will be provided to Steve who will put them on the web site.
A DVD of Mike and Jan Marker's pictures from the November meeting is available. Nine members requested a copy. Mike Stolle will contact the Markers and arrange to get them made. Mike will request 12 copies since not everyone was represented at this meeting. Mike Marker has agreed to do this at no cost. The DVD's should be available at the January meeting.

There will be an Airshow with the Blue Angels at GJT in September 2008. Planning is underway now. Volunteers will be needed and will get free passes. EAA 800 will consider options for fundraisers during the event.
Jim Grady has three boxes of aviation books that were previously owned by Mark Howard. After several minutes of discussion, it was decided to set up a library in a cabinet in Dag's Hangar ( if OK with Dag) so that members can check out these books. Nancy Hurst will help set up a system for cataloging the books and keeping track of them when checked out. A cabinet will be needed and may have to be purchased.
Darryl Monroe gave a brief desription of the progress on his 1939 Fairchild M24. It was used as a submarine patrol aircraft off the east coast during WW II.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:52 AM for the lunch buffet at Dragon Treasure.
